LARSON MARKS RACING RETURNS TO NORTH DAKOTA FOR THREE NIGHTS OF RACING

TRIPLE DUTY UP NORTH: Coming off of a successful week in Iowa, the Larson Marks Racing team is set to travel north for three nights of competition with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series. On Friday, the team will compete at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, N.D. The following night will be a postponed event rescheduled from June at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, N.D. The weekend will then be wrapped up on Sunday at Nodak Speedway in Minot, N.D.

NORTHERN TOUR PART TWO: Shane Stewart has four of top-10 finishes at River Cities Speedway, with his best finish being a third-place score that came in 2015.In Stewart's first visit to the high-banked, 3/10-mile circuit this season, he timed in ninth-quickest in Flight A of qualifying and followed that up by finishing fourth in his heat race. After starting 13th in the 40-lap main event, the pilot of the LMR No. 2 was able to advance seven positions to finish sixth.

DUEL IN THE DAKOTAS: On Saturday, the team will travel to Red River Valley Speedway, a new track to Larson Marks Racing. Despite being new to the team, Stewart has experience at the 3/8-mile high-banked track with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series. His best result at the track was a sixth-place finish.

MAGIC CITY SHOWDOWN: The LMR team returns to Nodak Speedway on Sunday for the only time this season. Last year, Stewart earned quick-time and won his heat race to transfer into the Craftsman Club Dash. He gained a spot in the dash to earn the fifth-starting position for the main event. While battling for the sixth position, he got tangled in a wreck with a lapped racecar with two circuits remaining. Since the race was past halfway, the Larson Marks team was not allowed any guaranteed time in the work area and they were unable to make repairs, resulting in a 17th-place finish.

LARSON MARKS RACING OWNERS: Larson Marks Racing is co-owned by NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series (NMECS) driver Kyle Larson and driver/entrepreneur Justin Marks. Marks also owns GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, N.C. Fresh off of his third Michigan International Speedway victory in a row, Larson will be at Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend to compete in the NMECS race.

LARSON MARKS RACING TEAM: The Larson Marks Racing team is led by crew chief Lee Stauffer of York, Penn., with Heath Moyle of Middleburg, Penn., and Dennis Christ of Fredericksburg, Penn.

LOOKING AHEAD: Following Sunday night's race at Nodak Speedway, Larson Marks Racing will be back on track Friday, August 25 at Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City, S.D.
